Kuyo. A Noh theater-inspired performance at the official opening of Onishi Gallery and Gallery Memoria in the heart of NYC’s Chelsea art district. New York City, December 2005.

Kuyo (Japanese): consolation and prayer for ancestors; to pray for souls departed. Using the components of light and shadow, female and male, as representatives for all polarity in life, this piece illustrates the constantly evolving nature of everything in our world - a vital part of an eternal, all-encompassing circle. Noh masks by Tendo Noguchi.
